I've made another crochet pattern! Yes, right in the middle of finals week I was feeling the finals slump, when I had a lightbulb go off with an idea for a crochet thread coaster pattern! :) I was inspired by the Mountain Laurel (aka Spoonwood) flower for this pattern.
I used Knitpicks Curio thread for my Spoonwood Coasters (picture above is made with the "Ice Lily" colorway) and a 1.75mm steel hook. I've also made a few more coasters with Curio in Natural and Victorian (red).
The pattern is now available for $3.00 USD on Ravelry. Since Finals week just ended for me in University, there may be more patterns to come during Winter Break. :)
Hi Everyone,
With my new pattern, Starburst, recently released, I thought I would share with you all some great tutorials I have found for the harder crochet techniques and stitches (magic loop, BP, FP, popcorns, splits, and chainless stitches).
So, below are some tutorials I've gathered from other sites or videos on the internet on:
Please let me know if there's anything else you need help on as I'll be happy to help out! :)
Hi everyone, it's been a while since I've updated last (once again, lol). College has kept me quite busy, but once in a while, it's nice to relax and take some time to knit and crochet. Recently, I've been immersed in the world of crocheted doilies. I told myself a long time ago that I would leave crocheting to the people who were good at it and could make an even circle. It took me a few years, but I finally got to a point in crocheting where my hand tension was consistent.
Above are some of the doilies I have made this year. I've gotten to the point where I have almost made 70(!) doilies. I should probably just make it to 100 right? Haha.
Until next time,
Just temporarily!
Meow-Meow, the sock cats, and I will be relocating to Ireland for school for the next couple of months, and then we'll be back before Fall.
Unfortunately, throughout this Winter Semester, I apologize that I haven't been able to update much due to school. :(
During this Summer, to stay updated on the adventure, please follow the sock cat's Instagram (Meow-Meow will be making occasional appearances with them as well).
We'll see you all soon from Ireland! :)
Hello Everyone!
I'm back. :)
Not much to update other than I made an Instagram account for Cinnamon the Sock Cat:

So please follow him! There will be daily picture posts (unlike here on the blog, haha).
